ACIC Cork & Closures is proud to offer top quality natural cork to meet your needs.
Corks should be kept in sealed bags and placed in sealed boxes away from sunlight to provide the best protection from contamination. We recommend that surplus or opened bags be rolled up and resealed with tape or zip ties. Boxes should be kept in a cool, dry area to avoid temperature fluctuations and exposure to light. Corks should be used within a 5 month period from the production date on the box. ACIC offers re-conditioning of our corks with a few limitations.

Decorating & Finishing
Artwork Specifications: black and white, high resolution files (.ai, .eps, or .pdf) with fonts outlined. Generic cork art options are available, please inquire with your sales rep.
Printing: single color (brown/black), one-pass printing available to customize your cork. Designs are applied using a direct printing process. One-time die charge of $100 is applicable. Lead time for body printing is 2 weeks after artwork approval.
Fire Branding: available for the body and/or ends of the cork. One-time tooling charge of $300 is applicable, waived if tooling already exists (i.e. vintage for end brands). Lead time for fire branding is 3 weeks after artwork approval.
Surface Coating:
Standard - paraffin wax with a silicone oil over-spray
Enhanced - 10% increase in standard coatings, recommended for longer term aging wines
Sweet Wine - polymer surface coating to envelope the cork to improve extraction
Packaging: 1000/bag, case count varies by product. Sealed with SO2 gas for sterility. Special spit-bagging available for $5/bag.
